I spent three years at university learning to write. Since then, I've learned that what surrounds the words is as important as the story itself.
Ours is a society of disjointed, disparate platforms. The accumulated knowledge of our species is only a click, tap or swipe away.
We consume that content using smartphones, tablets, connected televisions, laptops and pcs, yet still hoard shelves of yellowed, dog-eared books.
There's an interaction and an experience in turning physical pages that will never be matched by digital. It is immersive and personal.
But digital doesn't have to be the opposing pole - it can be warm, compelling and inviting.
It should engage and stimulate. It should encourage questioning and provide answers.
My internet melds quality content with clean, cohesive design.
It is written for consumption, not search engine spidering.
Quality content will always bubble to the surface. It will be discovered, embraced, shared and discussed.
My internet is responsive. It is platform agnostic. It isn't concerned with operating systems, screen resolutions, browser versions and underlying hardware. It presents content consistently and accessibly across devices.
My internet is unfinished. It exists in a constant state of flux and flow, where best practice and industry standards are accepted, but also questioned. Best practice is only best practice until someone finds a better way.
Done does not mean finished.
I'm just getting started.
I provide media and communications services for print and online. With a background in journalism and website management and development, I am as comfortable writing news features as I am writing CSS.
I am driven by quality and consistency. I build online experiences that highlight businesses, their brands and their values.
I am driven by continual improvement. I believe websites can be better.

I'm always happy to talk. nathan@nathanw.com.au
